Animation is a great way to concisely and effectively convey the operations of a mining installation. Mining sites are huge. Animation can easily move the viewer from one station to another to convey the salient points of your presentation.

SPECIFIC or WIDER APPLICATION:
Both approaches are valid and well in the comfort zone of CraneDigital.

Sometimes it is important to the success of your animation project to show precise, specific information. Equipment and machinery - down to brands, models and even years manufactured can add substantial credebility moving the perception from "concept" to "actual." Other details that help accomplish this are speicific lat/long coordinates of a project, and relavent GIS data to show actual terrain - before and after grading. When these important details are included in your animation, your project conveys an unmistakeable level of authenticity.

Other times, you might choose to avoid such specific detail and focus instead on a more general and concise approach for a non-technical audience. In this later scenario, using non-specific items of machinery to convey concept and communicate high level ideas is an excellent marketing strategy. Other reasons for this wider-application approach might include the desire to not lock a presentation into a specific installation or date; not communicate too much information to a competitor; or avoid the need to make final purchasing decisions.

3D MODELS:
Often times specific models of machinery already exist - either in CAD files or pre-built models. If generic is more appropriate to your project, we have an extensive library of generic models already created and are constantly adding more. Generic models can offer wider application and avoid legal delays.

GIS DATA:

We can use actual GIS chunks of earth to accurately create terrain models for your specific project. Actual topographic terrain, even satellite imagery are used in this approach. Or, we can create fictional land masses that get the point across without tipping your hand on proprietary information or actual lease locations.

PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEO:

We can travel to your site with video and or still imagery to capture high-resolution stills and HD video for your specific project.
