CraneDigital Completes WestFork Village: Working closely with the architect (Architecture 1, Loveland, Colorado) and WestFork Village Project Manager Chuck Rehmer, CraneDigital took 2-dimsional CAD drawings and built 3-dimensional models of the buildings in the computer. This process served 4 primary purposes: 1. To help refine the architectural plans before construction by allowing all involved to visualize the buildings. 2. To then take these renderings and use them for pre-sales/sales and marketing material, and 3. To present the project to the buying public by designing and programming westforkvillage.com using this same material as foundational content. 4. To create and communicate one unified brand across all forms of media. It was really fun to be able to bring him (CraneDigital) into this project because we knew that he was exactly the kind of talent that we need. said Don Tennessen, one of the broker associates who has worked with Crane on the WestFork Village project. There are a lot of people who do 3D on the computer, but to do it at the level he does is rare. Having a 3D illustration of West Fork Village gives people considering moving into the condos a better understanding of what it will be like. said Chuck Rehmer, another broker associate at The Groups Greeley Office. Because John has done this in the computer, particularly entry-level buyers will be able to see what theyre getting, he said. Its really a buyer visualization tool. "While architects may have the unique ability to visualize a space as they're creating in 2-dimensions, most people, including the buying public and investors, do not. Building and rendering the units in 3D is a terrific way of accomplishing both tasks: designing, then marketing the project," said John Crane, CraneDigital's founder. CraneDigital continues support of WestFork Village handling web updates, branding, signage, site plan details and the overall art direction of the project. This one point of accountability approach makes clients happy. The Groups Greeley office plans to do more projects with CraneDigital, Rehmer said. This is a logical step for the architectural industry, to go from 2D to 3D, he said. "This is really going to be the future of most of the industrys large projects.
