Figure 1: The original model was translated from the original CAD file supplied by client. Portions of the plane such as wings, nose cone, rear stabilizer, canopy, etc. were identified, sepatarated out and textured. Following approval by client, plane was rendered high-resolution from a variety of different angles to suit packaging layout requirements.

Figure 2: Another product was based on the same design as figure 1, but with different decor treatment. The same, already translated plane was re-surfaced to the new specs. Following approval, the new plane was rendered high-resolution from a variety of different angles to suit packaging layout requirements.

Re purposing the same geometry (3D model) can save time and money. The images at left were created with identical models, yet are 2 separate product models.

Using the same already translated CAD file saved translation time, clean up time and lighting set-up time, cutting the production in half from the original project.

This saves time and money by introducing your products to market faster and less expensively.
